Uarietà is a concert tour bringing the Arciorgano, a microtonal organ, to audiences in Europe. Inspired by Vicentino’s 1555 treatise it explores the tension between decomposition and synthesis through two new works. Decomposition Study breaks down written music through improvisation and extended techniques. Echoscope explores synthesis through microtonal counterpoint and an hexagonal speaker echoing the organ. Together, they embody Uarietà as a dynamic principle of musical transformation.
